Melody Stanford Martin, MDiv, is the Interim Director of the Restorative Justice Institute and the author of Brave Talk: Building Resilient Relationships in the Face of Conflict (Broadleaf Books, 2020). A graduate of the Conflict Transformation program at Boston University School of Theology (2016) Melody is also the Founder & CEO of Cambridge Creative Group, a narrative strategy and design firm specializing in nonprofit messaging and communication. Melody is a social ethicist, restorative justice practitioner, conflict coach, facilitator, and anti-oppression educator.
Melody has worked with a wide range of organizations—including government agencies, corporations, community groups, families, and nonprofits—helping leaders and teams strengthen communication, navigate conflict with integrity, and build cultures rooted in accountability and connection. Her work focuses on rhetorical ethics, courageous community engagement, and creative approaches to complex social challenges.
Melody lives in southern Maine with her partner Corey and their two golden retrievers, Baxter and Benedict Cumberbatch.
