Restorative Practices Facilitator
Restorative Practices Facilitator
My name is Cindy, and I am the Director of Academia Hebrea School of Panamá. We are currently in the process of transitioning to a Restorative Practices model and culture at our school, with the belief that mistakes present valuable opportunities for learning, and that reparation plays a crucial role in closing the circle of conflict.
As part of this shift, we are seeking two leaders—one for Primary and one for Secondary—to help us develop and implement this restorative approach across our school. These leaders will be responsible for:
- Designing and overseeing the development of the Restorative Practices program.
- Leading staff and student training initiatives, and providing ongoing professional development.
- Supporting interventions in cases where restorative approaches are required.
I am reaching out for a consultation regarding the following:
- Do you know of any qualified educators who might be interested in this opportunity to work at our school & collaborate in establishing a culture of respect, reflection, and reparation?
- Could you recommend a platform or site where we could publish a job post for this position?
If you are open to discussing this further or have recommendations, I would love to meet and explore how we can collaborate. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at cpieterick@academiahebrea.com.
We are looking for candidates who are committed to Restorative Practices, can support our efforts to build a compassionate and growth-oriented school culture, and are bi-lingual for both personal and professional purposes.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
Warm regards,
Cindy Pieterick
